My daughter has a drinking problem. As the fridge is now accessible to her, she is able to retrieve her own beverages without asking permission. In one hour she finished 4 drink boxes of chocolate milk. She just asked for another, which was denied, and I hear her entering the fridge now. Anyone want to sponsor my daughter?

If I could scream in typing I would. Without using capital letters of course because that is annoying. This last week has been crazy. I have not had the Internet for one whole week, and it was the longest week of my life. I almost cried when it was installed today, and I know that Caleb shed a tear or two as well. In a nutshell, we have been busy. This last weekend we made a painful move, celebrated Micaela's 3rd birthday, and hosted family in town. Having Micaela's birthday and family in town were great, and will be saved for later when I've unpacked my camera.
The move...was horrible, but thankfully over. Thanks to everyone who helped out! We needed it! For those who don't know, we have decided to spend the next few months in a smaller, cheaper place that is really right down the street from where we live now. The plan, fingers crossed, is to buy a house sometime between now and when the baby is born. I miss our old home terribly, but I am very slowly warming to the smaller space. Like the wonderful benefit of being able to hear my loud family regardless of what room I am in. It is that small.
In other news, I am through my first trimester! Successfully! I can't believe how fast it happened, fortunately August still feels a ways a way, as I have so many things to do before this baby comes. I feel like I am so big, and I have been complaining to Caleb that I feel wider and thicker. I was sure I had gained at least 5 pounds, but at my appointment I actually lost 2 pounds! Anyone like some diet suggestions? Just get knocked up! This is really surprising as I have had little morning sickness and have been eating a lot. The move must have burned a lot of calories. I am excited to check everyone's blogs and see what you all have been up to!

In light of all the princess talk in my house I found this little quiz and took it.

I am Belle:
According to the answers you have just chosen you are most like the Disney Princess Belle. Belle is as lovely as her name implies but her natural unaffected beauty is far more than skin deep. An intelligent and avid reader Belle yearns for faraway places and exciting adventures. She is a loyal, loving daughter and when the beast finally wins her trust she gives him all her kindness and patience and then realizes she has also given him her heart. With her inner strength and outward beauty, Belle is a young woman who can and does make things happen.
I did the quiz with Micaela, letting her answer as much as possible and trying to put answers that match her personality. I literally started laughing when I saw her results.

Micaela is:
According to the answers you have just chosen you are most like the Disney Princess Cinderella. Although gentle and soft spoken, Cinderella has a keen intelligent sense of humor which she wisely keeps hidden from her cruel Stepmother and jealous stepsisters. Finding delight in her tiny animal friends, able to sing as she works, Cinderella has true dignity something her Stepsisters could learn a thing or two about. Despite moments of heartbreak and disappointment, Cinderella holds onto her hopes until goodness and beauty are rewarded and dreams that she has dreamed do come true.
I would love to hear which princess all of you are!

Recent conversation with my two-year-old regarding healthy snack time.

Me "How about a yogurt?"

Micaela "How about a cookie?"

Me "How about a banana?"

Micaela "How about a brownie?"

Me " How about some orange juice?"

Micaela "How about choco nuk (chocolate milk)?"

Me (frustrated) "No, you need to eat something healthy. How about a yogurt?"

Micaela " How about yogurt and a cookie?"

Me "Sounds good to me."

Note: she ate the cookie first.

Our family has been a little crazy lately. For example Micaela has decided she is now a princess. She has requested to be called Cinderella (it should be noted that she is not doing the amount of housework expected of one with that name!) At some time throughout the day she will pull out one of her skirts, pull it on over her pants, find a pair of my "glass slippers" (high heels) and walk around the house.

Yesterday she began covering her face with her hands and running. I was very confused by this odd behavior, until watching Cinderella (for the millioneth time) and saw the scene where she runs down the steps crying with her hands on her face. Yes she is a drama queen, inherits that from her father.

I have been completely crazy lately. I have been pretty sick each morning, waking my family up with the wonderful sounds of worshiping the porcelain gods. Fortunately after that delightful morning ritual I manage to get through the rest of the day alright. I have been very tired, very, very tired. I am so very thankful to have a couch in my office, which I have used frequently as of late. I shouldn't complain too much, because in reality I have been pampered. Caleb takes me out to eat for whatever I am craving, which includes pancakes at night and Italian salad in the morning. He has also picked up the majority of the housework and the cooking, ok so maybe he was doing that even before I was pregnant, but it is so much more appreciated now.

My main complaint is the writers strike. As I am laying on the couch wanting to watch TV I have noticed NOTHING is on! We only have a million channels...of reruns! Well I have brownies downstairs that are begging to be made, but I wanted to post all of my interesting thoughts and some more cute pictures of Micaela. Yes, it is still snowing here!
